Despite a severe opposition of Israel, after one year’s struggle, Palestinians got membership in Interpol. Interpol’s annual 86st General Assembly meeting was held in china. During which Palestine was voted for membership in Interpol. During voting, 75 members of the Interpol countries voted for the Palestinians, while 24 members including Israel voted in opposition. 34 countries have not used their votes to make Palestine an Interpol member, after which Interpol won Palestinians after receiving a vote from a majority of two-thirds. Palestinian Foreign Minister Riaz al-Maliki declared Palestine’s victory to meet Interpol’s membership and said that membership of Palestine has become possible due to the principle of Interpol member states.
