ECP adjourns hearing of contempt of court case against Imran Khan until Oct 12

The Election Commission of Pakistan , adjourned the hearing into the contempt of court case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan until October 12. According to the details, the 4-member commission headed by Chief Justice Commissioner (R) Sardar Mohammad Raza heard the contempt court. Imran Khan’s lawyer Babar Awan did not appear in the Election Commission. Shahid Gondal Advocate represented Imran Khan. During the hearing, the Chief Election Commissioner asked Imran Khan’s lawyer to inquire about the case in the Islamabad High Court case, on which the lawyer said that the court has adjourned the hearing by October 11. In this regard, the chief Election Commissioner said that we have not yet received the order of the Islamabad High Court. The Election Commissioner said that if the Islamabad High Court did not decide by October 12, the Election Commission would hear its decision.
