Fast bowler Sohail Tanveer suffers from coronavirus

National fast bowler Sohail Tanveer, who is going to participate in the Sri Lankan Premier League, has also contracted the corona virus. Sohail Tanveer, 35, was tested on Coved 19 when he arrived in Sri Lanka, where he was to represent Candy Tusker in the upcoming T20 event. Earlier, Canadian batsman Ravinderpal Singh was also diagnosed with coronavirus and along with Sohail Tanveer, he has also been quarantined in a hotel.

The Candy Tuskers included Sohail Tanveer in their squad to replace Wahab Riaz, who had to withdraw from the tournament after joining Pakistan’s 35-member squad for the tour of New Zealand. Sohail Tanveer’s participation in the tournament depends on his recovery, but it is feared that these actions will not be possible in the first two weeks of the fast bowler event. It may be recalled that fast bowler Sohail Tanveer was a key member of the Multan Sultans in the play-offs of the recently concluded Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 5.
